Sam and Abby's wedding day was about the people and the city they love. With Sam in his Army greens, Abby in a sleek white gown and their family there to celebrate, we spent the afternoon walking downtown San Antonio, from the old oaks and City Hall to the River Walk. Here are a few of our favorites.

Under the Oaks
We started in the shade of the big oaks downtown, where Abby fixed Sam's collar one last time before portraits.
City Hall and Family
San Antonio City Hall's limestone arches and grand entrance are one of our favorite downtown backdrops. Sam and Abby's family joined us here for photos before the two of them headed off on their own.
Quiet Corners Downtown
Downtown San Antonio is full of old walls, carved stone and hand-painted tile. A few steps off the busy streets, we found quiet spots that let Sam and Abby just be together.
The River Walk and the Love Lock Bridge
No downtown session is complete without the River Walk. We stopped at the love lock bridge and wandered along the water under the cypress trees.
One Last Grand Entrance
We finished at one of downtown's grand old doorways, with one last dip in the middle of the street for good measure.
Congratulations, Sam and Abby!
