Matt and Kristen kept their wedding simple and close: a ceremony in a downtown San Antonio courtroom with their family beside them, then an afternoon of portraits at some of the most beautiful buildings downtown. It's a perfect example of how much a courthouse wedding can hold.

A Courtroom Ceremony
Kristen wore a soft white gown and a long veil and carried a bouquet of white and blush roses. Their family filled the front rows as the two of them stepped up in front of the bench.
Vows, Rings and a Signature
Courthouse ceremonies move quickly, so we photograph every moment: the vows, the rings, the first kiss as a married couple and the officiant signing their marriage license.
Family Photos at City Hall
Right after the ceremony, we walked over to San Antonio City Hall for family photos on the plaza out front.
Portraits at City Hall
City Hall's limestone arches and tall windows make one of the prettiest backdrops downtown. Matt and Kristen relaxed fast, and these portraits show it.
San Fernando Cathedral, the Courthouse and the River Walk
From City Hall, we walked to San Fernando Cathedral, the red stone entrance of the Bexar County Courthouse, the River Walk and a few grand downtown doorways, all within a few minutes of each other.
Congratulations, Matt and Kristen!
